Kitchens

Kitchens & Splashbacks

Splashbacks set out from cabinet centre-lines so cuts fall evenly and the run reads as one.

Kitchen splashbacks live at eye-level, so the set-out matters as much as the tile. Every splashback here was lined up from the cooker centre-line, sockets cut around cleanly, joints kept dead-consistent and the worktop junction silicone-finished tight. From a single hob run to a wall-to-wall book-matched marble splashback.

What we did

  • Old splashbacks stripped out, plaster made-good and primed
  • Bevelled metro set in 1/3 bond around navy shaker units
  • Book-matched Calacatta marble veining tracked across joints
  • Anti-mould grout, silicone bead to every worktop & corner

Showers

Showers & Ensuites

Floor-to-ceiling walk-in showers, tanked, vein-matched and finished tight to the tray.

Walk-in showers are the highest-stakes tiling in a home — wet, on show, and unforgiving of a sloppy cut. Every shower in this gallery was tanked back to substrate, set out so the veining tracks across internal corners, niches dropped in with mitred returns, and the wall-to-tray junction sealed properly so there isn't a tile edge in sight.

What we did

  • Walls boarded, tanked and waterproofed before tile
  • Vein-matched 600×1200 marble-effect porcelain
  • Recessed linear niches with mitred returns
  • Frameless-glass screens detailed against the marble

Bathrooms

Bathrooms & WCs

Family bathrooms, utilities and under-stairs WCs — taken back to substrate and rebuilt properly.

Bathrooms and small WCs are where shortcuts catch up with you fastest. Every job in this gallery was stripped back to substrate, walls re-boarded and primed, door reveals tiled cleanly and the bath surround sealed tight. Small rooms in particular feel deliberate, not patched, because every cut was driven into a corner — not pieced in.

What we did

  • Old finishes stripped back; walls re-boarded and primed
  • Stone- and slate-effect porcelain wall-to-wall
  • Door reveals and bath surrounds tiled tight
  • Dark grout chosen to disappear into the stone joints

Floors

Floors

Large-format marble, wood-effect herringbone and patterned feature floors — every plank clipped flat.

Floors live with the customer for decades, so the prep matters as much as the tile. Every floor here was levelled with self-levelling compound, primed, then set out from a centre-line through the longest room so cuts fall evenly door-to-door. Levelling clips on every tile mean no lippage, and grout colour is chosen to recede so the pattern carries through the space.

What we did

  • Substrate lifted, levelled with SLC and primed
  • Centre-line set-out through the longest room
  • Levelling clips on every tile — lippage-free finish
  • Patterned floors centred on the doorway for symmetry
